Ik kwam vandaag een mij nog onbekend cognac merk tegen: Galard-Bonnefoy.
Lijkt een handelaar die zelf ook wijngaarden heeft. Interessant is dat ze ook een 60 jaar oude XO hebben.
In 1895 begonnen met wijnbouw, maar zo te zien pas onlangs met directe verkoop gestart. Ik kan geen winkels of verkooppunten vinden en ook geen telefoonnummer helaas.
Ik heb er maar een pagina aan gewijd op mijn site.

Ik kreeg net een mail binnen van hen met hun tarieven. 
Gelukkig zat ik neer of ik viel van mijn stoel ! Santé zeg. Liefst 1.500 € voor die 60yo cognac. Voor de XO Extra 20yo vragen ze 259 €. Ik ben niet te beroerd om wat meer te betalen, maar we gaan nu ook niet overdrijven he?

HISTOIRE
In 1895, Abel Galard, wine and spirits trader, inspired by wine criers,
acquired a 6 hectare wine estate in the town of Triac-Lautrait, near
Jarnac.
Moise Galard, son of Abel and Louise, born in 1885, took over the
family estate, enlarged the vineyard area and married Jeanne. It was
in 1909 that their son Léonce Galard was born, also the year of the
Cognac. De
appearance of the demarcated geographical area of production of
Léonce follows in his father’s footsteps in viticulture and is passionate
about distillation, he trains in the profession of vintage boiler with a
large trading house in Cognac, the Martell house. The latter will, in
1932, install the first Charentais stills on the farm.
Famille
Paul GALARD, son of Léonce and Yvonne, born in 1933, started
his career as a winegrower early. The Second World War having
deprived him of his grandfather, he participated in the produc -
tion of Cognac with his grandmother, his mother and his sisters.
Anthony Galard, son of Paul and Danielle, born in 1976, is en -
couraged by his parents to return to work. With a solid viticul -
tural know-how and a great mastery of distillation, he perpe -
tuates family history with enthusiasm and passion for extracting
the essence of his terroir. His art of blending and his quest for
excellence allow him today to offer exceptional brandies .

The distillery is the heart of his estate.
It is where our excellent Cognacs are
produced by M.Galard. Distilled in his
Charentais stills.
His know-how is recognised by his peers.
That is why he also distills for the greatest
houses of Cognac.

De 60 jarige... komt met accijns en marge voor importeur en slijterij boven de 2.000 ver boven de 2....

Sorry hoor, maar dat zijn belachelijke prijzen. Waarop baseren die zich dan? Ik heb hun prijslijst alvast in mijn prullenbak gegooid. Aan mij gaan ze geen klant hebben.
