It’s going to take some more of getting used to.

Oh yes, it's totally different. But I prefer the calvados from the Domfrontais region. Otherwise it's like drinking appel juice with a dash of alcohol.

Thanks for the tip JohanB. I will keep an eye out for those. I am still exploring with Calvados. I am sure more interesting developments will emerge down the road.

After a long search; finally an apple-flavored ice cream. With Calvados, this makes for a splendid treat.

Dit weekend een kort tripje naar Normandië, met een bezoekje aan de Palais Bénédictine (echt de moeite als museum) en Ferme du Ponctey (https://www.ponctey.fr/). Fantastische prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding Calvados. De 10 jaar liet ons achterovervallen (39 EUR).
