Jouw laatste Cognac aankoop?

Ik verwacht ook niets bijzonders maar het nostalgische gevoel van een botteling net voor mijn geboorte is ook al leuk...

Van dezelfde keldervondst met flessen cognac uit de jaren 70' en 80' heb ik deze twee oldies ook nog aangeschaft:
- Prince Hubert de Polignac, VSOP, 40%
- Camus, Celebration, 40%. Wat bij deze cognac onmiddellijk opvalt is de wel zeer lichte kleur.

Ziet er inderdaad merkwaardig uit.

Ja Ton, het lijkt bijna een niet gerijpte eau de vie.
Ik zie op je website dat er bij deze flessen Camus Celebration nog één van zeer lichte kleur staat.
Het groene glas helpt natuurlijk ook wel niet om de juiste kleur te zien. In ieder geval zit de originele seal er nog op en is de fles niet gevuld met water .

Ik neem aan dat je hem wel een keer gaat openen?

Ik denk idd dat ze het boisé-proces vergeten zijn
We zullen de fles eens moeten openen om het mysterie op te lossen...

This is an unique bottle. It’s a 35cl bottle. I can not find anything online that suggests this bottle exists. At first I thought it was a really old bottle that went beyond their recent cataloging. But then at close examination, the label is actually color-printed, with the pixels that are visible.

Could anyone shed some light on this mysterious bottle?

I saw this bottle just a week or so ago. Where did you buy it? Maybe it was the same one.
I can't see anything wrong with it. RS put the labels on the bottle by hand. For a very small batch they could well have printed them theirselves I guess with a small office printer.

I got it on an auction. The bottle is believed to have originated in Southern California.

Two bottles with similar profiles, but different quality. One is of finesse, the other drinks like whisky.

30 years old Dudognon, cask strength 49.5% abv.
30 years old Gregarious Grump, cask strength 52.9% abv.
