Interesting Roland, could Ancestral be the new name of their Reserve de la Famille!? It states the single cask number, so seems to be the same concept (as you state differing from the other bottles in their range)… If not sure, would love to check with Delamain myself

Om even op mijn laatste post terug te komen. Bij Delamain gecheckt, de Ancestral komt inderdaad in de plaats voor de Reserve de la Famille.
Daarnaast hebben ze afgelopen weekend in Londen een nieuw range geïntroduceerd met de naam Pleiade. Deze bestaat tevens uit Single cask cognacs in 3 verschillende leeftijdsklassen...

Of Single casks zoals Ambleville, Mallaville, Segonzac ?
Het is dat het programma van onze reis in juni al zo vol zit...The Pléiade will consist of often vintage, limited edition, single cask cognacs grouped in three collections by age range.

Thanks Hans. That's good to know. I would much prefer superior cognac that focus on the juice rather than the crystal decanters and the packaging. Cheers.
