Ja, idd zo'n fles. Koop niet zoveel via ebay. Was mijn tweede keer.

Yes great Cognac! This was the first Hardy I tasted , after that one, al other Hardy's where a disappointment ...

Unfortunately the supply will decrease as demand continues going up. This only points towards one direction as far as prices go. The new Noce D’or Sublime is essentially just a repackaged Noce D’or, but costing 50% more. I have recently tasted the Hardy XO, and wasn’t as impressed as I thought I should have been. Maybe it’s like you said, once tasted the good stuff, and going backwards, nothing will be good enough anymore

I can’t help myself. Every cognac enthusiast must try the Louis xiii and the Hennessy Paradis ‘Extra’. So I was told

Beautiful, the old version from 2001-2009.
But I tought the Paradis was a bit disappointing. The Richard on the other hand was great. I wonder what you think of the Paradis.
By the way: what is the Asian text on your calling card on the photo's?

Has been a while since I tasted them, but for me, the Paradis, the Paradis Impérial and the Richard were all a bit disappointing. For that money, in my opinion, much better cognacs can be bought.

Ah the Richard. Now you planted a bug in me. I walked away from a $1,500 bottle when I was younger. A huge regret. Of the 'Big 4's' top bottles, this is the one I haven't tried yet. Not sure if there is an artisan cognac producer equivalent of this bottle, or at least something close to it; like la fontaine de la pouyade, perhaps? Of course it'd be difficault to replicate the results from a mass inventory to which Hennessy can draw their composition from.

I haven't got around to the Paradis Extra. Will definately post notes when I open it. The Asian text is a phonetic representation of the English, Fuzhouman.
