Grape: Ugni Blanc
Vineyards : Exclusive Grande Champagne from the Domain Frapin
Selection : Straight from the alembic. Selected by tasting to focalise exclusively on the specific “Light & Pure” quality.
Blend : Youngest Cognac is 12 years Old
Aging : Only 6 months in new oaks from Limousine area to preserve the fruit and characteristic of the Cognac. Then, 8 years in red casks (5 years old cask). Aged 6 years in dry chai and 2 years in humid chai. Then the cognac is blended with older cognac Grande Champagne from Frapin to add complexity from the very old Eau de Vie and aged a other 4 years in very old cask in a humid chai to mature the blend.
Bottling : In the Domain. All the bottles will carry the cask number.
Cask strength : 46°

Tasting notes :
Delicate aromas with just a hint of oak and balanced complexity. Shows typical finesse and elegance with the scent of spring flowers mingling with apricot and a soft touch of vanilla. The head notes exhibit extraordinary freshness which should not be lost by serving at too high a temperature.

This is a rare and truly exceptional product. The youngest cognac in the blend is 12 years old, all of them come from our own Estate in the Premier Grand Cru area of Grande Champagne (46% vol).
